Dyson Foundation Supports Capital Campaign

The Lewis County Hospital Foundation is excited to announce that the Dyson Foundation has generously invested in the Honoring the Legacy, Building the Future Capital Campaign.  Their $250,000 grant is earmarked for the capital project at Lewis County General Hospital which includes the new state-of-the-art surgical pavilion which opened in December 2023, private patient rooms and a five-bed critical care unit.

The Dyson Foundation, located in Millbrook, New York has strong connections to Lewis County.  Joy Stillman Dyson, daughter of long-time Lewis County General Hospital Physician, Dr. Elwin Stillman, and her husband Chris, love the North Country and were honored that the Dyson Foundation awarded this gift to support the capital project.

This extremely generous grant from the Dyson Foundation provides donors with another matching gift opportunity.  Half of the grant has already been awarded to the Foundation.  The remaining $125,000 will be matched by donations from the community.  This new matching opportunity means that every NEW gift to the Capital Campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $125,000!

Your donation, no matter the size, will help us reach and exceed our fundraising goal of $2.4 million.  You may mail a donation to:  Lewis County Hospital Foundation, 7785 North State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.  You may also make a secure on-line gift at www.lewiscountyhospitalfoundation.org.
