Annual Giving
The Annual Giving Campaign is an opportunity to make a yearly contribution to the Lewis County Hospital Foundation through a variety of designated funds to support the Lewis County Health System.
CAITLYN R. PATE FUND
The Caitlyn R. Paté Fund provides equipment and bereavement memory boxes to support families who have experienced the loss of a child through stillbirth or miscarriage.
GRATEFUL PATIENT GIVING
The Grateful Patient Program provides a way to donate to the Lewis County Hospital Foundation to recognize the excellent care that you or a loved one received from a member of the staff while a patient at the hospital.
FUND FOR HOPE
The Fund for Hope is dedicated to making the journey with cancer less stressful by helping to defray a portion of the travel expenses related to a patient’s cancer treatment.
MEMORIAL & HONORARY GIVING
A memorial or honorary gift to the Lewis County Hospital Foundation in remembrance of a family member or a friend is a special way to create a lasting tribute to a loved one. It can be directed to a particular program or department or can be an unrestricted donation to be used where it is needed most at the hospital.
Brick Campaign
The Lewis County Hospital Foundation has an on-going Memorial and Honorary Brick Campaign at Lewis County General Hospital. The bricks are installed at the main entrance of the Hospital and can be purchased to remember a loved one, honor a friend, thank a member of the medical staff, or engrave your name to show your appreciation for our community Hospital.
1931 LEGACY SOCIETY
The 1931 Legacy Society was established to commemorate the year Lewis County General Hospital was established. Donors who make a minimum unrestricted gift of $5,000 (or a five-year pledge of $1,000) to the Hospital Foundation will become a Founding Member of the 1931 Legacy Society. Donors who make a minimum unrestricted gift of $25,000 (or a five-year pledge of $5,000) to the Hospital Foundation will become a Visionary Member of the 1931 Legacy Society.
LEWIS COUNTY HOSPICE
Hospice promotes quality of life by providing holistic comfort care for the terminally ill and their loved ones before and after death. Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care and educating our community about issues related to death, dying, grief and bereavement.

These permanent funds managed by the Northern New York Community Foundation are structured to provide the flexibility to meet current and future needs of the Lewis County Health System.
