Lewis County Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament
The Lewis County Hospital Foundation’s annual fundraising golf tournament was held on Friday, June 13th at Brantingham Golf Course. One hundred and fifty-two players competed in the men’s, women’s and co-ed divisions. The registration fee included greens fees, two carts per foursome, continental breakfast, lunch on the course and a barbecue after the tournament.
Winning teams in each flight won cash prizes. A putting contest, a double-your-money contest and a new Lucky Duck contest were all held on the course as well as a skins game. All players had a chance to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one on hole # 8 sponsored by the Lowville Elks Lodge. Although it was not the $10,000 hole, Phil McDowell got his first hole-in-one on hole #15.
